I have always been fascinated with historic Rt. 66 images and finally got to see and photograph this beautiful little motel on a recent trip through the southwest. It reminds me of many such structures I saw growing up in the south in the 1950s and 60s. The Blue Swallow was named by Smithsonian Magazine as "the last, best and friendliest of the old-time motels" All shares greatly appreciated:)
