Cool Springs Service Station is located about 20 miles west of Kingman, Arizona. It was built on a remote part of old Route 66 in 1926 and grew to include a cafe, bar and eight cabins. It fell into serious disrepair in earlier decades but has since been partially reconstructed and is a popular stop for today's Rt. 66 travelers. A color version of this image also available.
