General George Washington's headquarters during the Battle of the Brandywine, Sept. 11,1777. The restored farmhouse was once the property of Benjamin Ring, a Quaker farmer and miller. It is located in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania on the Brandywine Battlefield. This image also available in monochrome.

Great historical photo, currently reading 1776 by David McCullough reminded me of these places, and to see one is great.
